Our team is looking for a freelance print designer for a short to long-term contract position. Please only apply is you have at least 3 – 5 years of work experience and a portfolio site in which to review work.
Position Responsibilities
Collaborate with project team and fellow designers to maintain consistent designs that align with client expectations and project initiatives.
Ability to work under tight time constraints and within project deadlines
Ability to apply your knowledge of color theory, typography, illustration, branding, storytelling and iconography on a broad range of projects.
Ability to design compelling visual executions using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and other design software.
Effectively work in a team environment and contribute your ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to generate multiple and distinct compositions while interpreting client’s needs outlined in creative briefs.
Qualifications
Design related degree and/or equivalent work experience.
At least three (3) years of work experience in a design firm, agency or studio.
Strong working knowledge of design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash.
A tight portfolio displaying creative flair demonstrating experience in developing corporate identity and collateral systems
Experience applying theories related to color themes, use of space, typography, and visual hierarchy.
