Mindjet, a fast growing software company located in Larkspur Landing, is seeking a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer for our MindManager Windows application products.

The successful candidate must possess a strong academic background and demonstrate basic proficiency with Object Oriented Programming, C++, COM, C#/.NET, Web Services and XML/XSLT technologies. A positive attitude combined with a willingness to learn is important.


Responsibilities:
Contribute to building Mindjets next generation technology platform
Integrate into a highly motivated Xtreme Programming development team


Qualifications:
Strong understanding of software development using object oriented design principles
Visual Studio, C++/COM, C#/.NET, Web Services, XML/XSLT knowledge
Clear and easy to understand verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to excellence and ability to work with other team members
B.S. or higher in Computer Science

Previous experience with Extreme Programming
Knowledge of Client/Server architecture
Knowledge of MFC
Database and SQL Server knowledge

This is an object-oriented software position and is not best suited to web / java developers or IT / system administrators.
