Elite Staffing & Consulting is searching for a top-notch Project Leader with technical expertice to support the following role. This leader will be interested in a company who values employee retention and seek a secure, permanent long-term employment relationship.
Purpose:
The Application Project Leader is responsible for analyzing, defining, implementing and supporting business solutions. The APL will work across functional lines (Customer Service, Credit, Finance, etc.) and will act as the main liaison between the Information Technology group and the business.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Main IT liaison to Customer Service line of business which includes: project management, prioritization and on-going support.
• Address, delegate and ensure completion of helpdesk issues in the Customer Service and Finance departments.
• Manage the relationship between the company, IBM and ACS as it relates to BPCS and associated applications.
• Coordinate the tasks of internal staff and external consultants on assigned projects.
• IT lead responsible for fiscal period close processing.
• Lead the process in conjunction with the business to document and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations in the BPCS application.
• Support the C/Lect cash preprocessor application.
• Support the Siebel - eBPCS interfaces.
• Lead the IT effort to install and interface RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology.
• Support PowerBuilder internal application to manage stock locator system.
Knowledge/Experience/Competencies:
• Masters in Business or Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
• Ten years with competency in multiple functional areas and multiple technical platform areas, systems development life cycle and project planning and control skills.
• Demonstrated skill in analysis and problem solving
• Excellent interpersonal skills with users, executives, internal IS staff and external resources.
• Ability to manage customer expectations for delivery of new systems, enhancements and maintenance projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent planning and execution skills.
