W. W. Norton & Company is an independent and employee-owned publishing house with robust trade, professional, and college textbook divisions. The Advertising Webmaster is responsible for maintaining the principle site for Norton’s College Division, wwnorton.com/college (3,500+ pages). Duties will include updating existing pages, designing online advertisements, launching HTML email campaigns, and creating new mini-sites for our ever-growing booklist.

This position requires interacting with the entire college textbook division, from editors to marketers to production managers. We are looking for someone with 1-2 years experience in web design, with an established ability to manage multiple projects and meet important deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about college publishing and to help the Advertising Department grow as we expand our web presence.

Requirements include:
* Proficiency in XHTML and CSS
* Experience with semantic and valid markup and page structure
* Experience using FTP software
* Flash and basic Actionscripting
* Basic knowledge of Javascript
* Proficiency in Photoshop, for both creation and optimization of graphics
* Knowledge of accessibility issues (section 508 compliance)

Additional qualifications include a good eye for design, an ability to work efficiently and autonomously, and a strong interest in book publishing.

What we are looking for:
Someone who knows the features and advantages of Jobazaar, and who has experience in communicating with news agencies, newspaper editors, etc.
Your job would be to contact newspapers, news websites, well-known blogs, and so on, and make them report about Jobazaar. You have to tell us about everything you do, so we can get you more money if we feel your work has been successful. For example: If you got someone to mention Jobazaar on their website, which brings us thousands of visitors, you will get extra money.

This would be a one time job, well, we can work together again if it is successful.

Ideally, we are looking for a person who already works in that sector. You can make some money by just promoting us.

Newly established business software company requires optimization of web site that is to be launched the first of June. Our company is marketing a Change Management Control Software and high ranking in the
major search engines is imperative. A clean, simple web site has been developed and is almost completely text (no demos, flash etc.). We require someone to review this site and implement changes to ideally
place us on the first pages of google, yahoo and other dominant search engines. Initially, this will be the only way our potential market finds us - other ideas for heightened web presence campaigns will be
appreciated as well.

All work can be done via the web and e-mail. Should the winning bidder demonstrate results, the project may become ongoing. Limited budget for this project.
